According to the Universal Hejric Calendar (UHC), which is based on the calculated crescent visibility, the start of this month in the Eastern Region will be on Saturday 14 July 2018 and in the Western Region will be on Saturday 14 July 2018. Kindly notice that the UHC is a pre-calculated calendar, which adopts a certain criterion to start the new Hejric month. Your country/organization might adopt different criterion to start the new Hejric month. So it is highly advised to read the UHC website before giving any judgment.

- Results of seeing the crescent, and the first day of the month in different countries will be added here Inshalla as we receive the reports from ICOP's members. If you wish to be a member in ICOP, or to know more about it, kindly click here.

Eng. Martin Elsaesser said: "I tried to observe the young crescent with the imaging system some two hours before sunset. Skies were good and the crescent was at 8° elongation, so i hoped that this would not be to difficult. The video system immediately showed the crescent, after aligning on the sun and mercury. After that success i tried to observe the crescent visually with a telescope at 35x. Despite a good effort i could not see it, but i also had not really expected to, due to the small elongation. Lag time will be very short this evening, so i will not try to see it after sunset."
